A vision for sustainable student living

Verto

Verto approached us to create a visual identity for Halo Village, the world’s first net-zero carbon student village. Designed to accommodate over 1,800 students, this ambitious project marks a significant step forward in sustainable housing for students. The identity we crafted not only captured the essence of zero-carbon living but was also designed to evolve as the project progressed, ensuring flexibility across materials and hoarding.

Crafting a bright future for students and the planet

The Halo Village identity focused on both students' futures and the planet’s, delivering a message of hope and aspiration. With zero-carbon living at the core, we worked with an illustrator to create ethereal brand assets that echoed the visionary nature of the project. By balancing modern, minimalist design with these visuals, we ensured the brand remained aligned with Verto’s commitment to sustainability.

Bringing the Halo Village identity to life

After establishing the identity, we applied it to hoarding and a sales deck for Verto. Sustainability wasn’t just part of the message—it shaped the visuals, too. Lifestyle imagery showcased the future of student living in Cornwall, connecting the village’s ethos to its location and environmental goals.
